Kiara
- 6 Years
Kiara’s journey began tragically when she was found abandoned on the streets after being deemed “useless” by a breeding facility. She had lost mobility in her hind legs due to neglect and abuse. For three long months, Kiara was hospitalized at the veterinary clinic, undergoing intensive treatment for malnutrition and the effects of mistreatment. While she has the potential to regain mobility through rehabilitation therapy twice a week, Kiara currently requires constant care as she struggles with mobility issues that affect her ability to defecate and urinate without assistance, risking skin injuries.
Isaiah
- 1 Year
Isaiah, one of Hope’s eight puppies, was born into a challenging situation but has thrived thanks to his mother’s unwavering care. Rescued from Yunguilla, Isaiah arrived at the shelter in good health and quickly became a favorite with his playful and affectionate nature.
Hope

Hope’s journey to safety began with a plea for help from Yunguilla, where she was found in a state of severe malnutrition. Upon arrival at the shelter, rescuers discovered that Hope had recently given birth, but her puppies were nowhere to be found. With Hope’s guidance, they were able to locate and rescue all eight puppies, bringing them to safety alongside their mother. It was a testament to Hope’s bravery and maternal instincts, ensuring her pups’ survival despite her own hardships.
Paquito
- 3 - 4 Years
Abandoned by his previous owners, Paquito was taken in by the foundation president. He arrived with chronic eye and nasal infections but has since recovered. Paquito is calm, affectionate, and enjoys short walks and cuddles, making him perfect for a quiet, loving home.
Pumba
- 8 Years
Pumba was rescued in Ricaurte, suffering from skin parasites and chronic malnutrition. Now eight years old, he is affectionate and playful, despite his past hardships. Pumba seeks a loving home where he can spend his senior years surrounded by love and care.
Vilma
- 4 - 5 Years
Rescued from the streets of Sayausí, Vilma was malnourished and infested with parasites. Thanks to proper care and nutrition, she is now healthy and ready for adoption. Vilma is affectionate, obedient, and loves playing and walking.
Daphne
- 8 Years
Daphne was found in a dire state, suffering from severe malnutrition and a severe case of Demodex. Rescuers suspected her owner abandoned her due to these health issues. Over the past few months, Daphne has made remarkable strides, thanks to dedicated care.
Sofi
- 4 Years
Rescued from an abandoned area as a puppy, Sofi was severely malnourished and suffering from parvovirus and distemper. Her resilience and the dedicated care she received at the shelter helped her recover.
Toño
- 4 - 5 Years
Toño was part of a group of dogs living along the Turi-Guachapala-Tarqui route. Known for his playful and affectionate nature, Toño went missing and was found severely injured. Despite the odds, he recovered with the help of dedicated rescuers.
Sally

Frida

Frida was abandoned and hit by a car, sustaining severe injuries. Despite her initial fear and pain, she made a remarkable recovery. Frida is now curious and playful, though she still avoids putting weight on her previously injured leg.
Alvin

Alvin was discovered wandering the streets alone severely malnourished and suffering from a skin infection, Alvin’s prospects looked grim. But with the dedicated care and love from our rescue team, Alvin’s story took a turn for the better.
Dalia

Found with her mother Frida and siblings, Dalia was initially malnourished and timid. She has since become a strong, intelligent, and affectionate dog who enjoys being active and taking on the role of leader in a gentle, non-aggressive way.
Francesca

Rescued from a farm where she was kept in poor conditions, Francesca was extremely malnourished. Now, she is active, playful, and enjoys her newfound freedom. Francesca loves human interaction and is ready for a home that can match her energy and enthusiasm.
Maylem

Abandoned when her owner entered rehabilitation, Maylem arrived severely malnourished. She is now healthy and well-adjusted, known for her docile and playful nature. Maylem is ready for a new home that can offer her love and stability.
