SnoopDiego is my hobby project where I build useful apps, demos, and tools for real people and small businesses. This is why I started it, what I like building, and why rescued dogs are part of the story.
SnoopDiego started as a simple idea: build useful things, keep it fun, and make it real.
I like making apps. Not giant “startup unicorn” apps. Not bloated systems with a thousand features nobody uses. I mean small, practical tools that solve annoying problems and make life easier.
That is the whole vibe here.
Some people build music playlists. Some people fix old cars. Some people collect watches. I build little apps, widgets, and demo CRMs because I genuinely enjoy it.
And over time, I realized something important: this project could also do some good.
A big part of what comes from SnoopDiego helps support rescued dogs. That part matters a lot to me.
Why small apps?
Because small apps are underrated.
A simple quote generator can save hours every week.
A clean intake form can reduce back-and-forth messages.
A lightweight CRM can make a small business feel way more organized without needing a giant expensive platform.
A lot of businesses do not need “enterprise software.”
They need:
- something clear
- something practical
- something they can actually use
- something that fits how they already work
That is exactly the kind of thing I like building.
What I usually build
Most of the stuff on SnoopDiego falls into a few categories:
Demo CRMs
These are simple CRM-style demos for specific businesses, like:
- vets
- music stores
- tattoo studios
- photographers
- gyms/coaches
They are not meant to be giant systems. They are meant to show what a clean, useful workflow can look like.
Free tools and widgets
This is where I build random useful things like:
- Dog ID Creator
- Missing Dog Poster Creator
- Quote / PDF tools
- Business card tools
- small office helpers
Some of these start as experiments. Some become real tools people use every day.
That is part of the fun.
Why the tone is different here
I am not trying to build a big agency.
SnoopDiego is a hobby project. A serious hobby, yes — but still a hobby. I build because I like building. I like solving messy little problems. I like seeing something go from “this is annoying” to “oh nice, this works.”
So if the site feels more human and less corporate, that is on purpose.
I want this to feel like:
“Hey, I build cool useful stuff. If you need something like this, let’s talk.”
Not:
“We are a world-class innovation company delivering scalable solutions.”
No thanks.
The dog part (very important)
This project also helps support rescued dogs.
That is not a marketing line. It is a real part of why I keep doing this.
I care about building useful software, but I also care about helping in a way that is practical and sustainable. If a tool I built helps someone and also helps a rescue dog in the process, that is a win.
Simple as that.
If you have an idea
If you have a messy process, a small business workflow, or a tool idea you wish existed, send it.
It does not need to be perfectly explained.
A lot of the best ideas start like this:
- “This is kind of a mess…”
- “I do this in Excel and WhatsApp…”
- “Can this be simpler?”
- “I need a small tool for this one thing…”
Usually, yes.
And those are exactly the projects I enjoy most.
What’s next on SnoopDiego
I will keep adding:
- more demo CRMs
- more free widgets
- more practical PDF tools
- more weirdly useful mini apps
Some will be serious. Some will be random. Some will be both.
That is the point.
If you want to follow along, try the tools, or ask me to build something custom, you are in the right place.
Thanks for stopping by.
